The worst plastic surgery

Today we have a look at some of the worst plastic surgery job pictures on the internet and give them a good roasting. Seeing the results some of these people got kinda just makes you realize the grass isn't always greener on the other side and you should just be happy with what you have.

After seeing these botch jobs would you ever get work done?

Things to never search for in Google

Google is great, every body uses it, but sometimes it can be darn right scary and rather disturbing. Today we look at that part of google and see how far we can take it and see whether or not there is something that fits the search for everything that our sick minds come up with. 3 words PERIOD BLOOD ART!!!!

This video was a blast, we just sat back and just thought of the sickest and most random things we could think of. It was rather impressive to see how vast the internet really is. I'm fairly positive that we could of kept join for hours and Google would of kept up with our twisted minds and ideas.

Shidam Shorts 2016

This weeks video brings back an old series we haven't visited for almost a year. Shidam Shorts! It is a series of short skits compiled into one video. Why it ended in the first place is hard to say. We just never got around to filming another one for a whole year because we had so many other ideas to film. I for one am happy to be working on these ideas again. They come to me very often and are rather fun to write, film and edit. Enjoy!

Body Mod FAILS!

Some People Like to Modify their bodies, some people like to point out how stupid and ugly those people become when they take it too far. That's where we come in. In this weeks video we look at some crazy body modification fails (That includes piercings, tattoos, and other general alterations). A pierced ear and a few tattoos is acceptable, but these people just took it too far. Find out for yourself. What do you think?

The Werewolf Prank!

Today's video was a change of pace for us. We did a prank rather than our typical sketch comedy. The concept was simple yet hilarious. What if we took a ton of fake hair, glued it to our face and went into PetSmart on an empty stomach looking for food? The results were priceless!

We were nervous to do this prank, but for that very reason we knew it was something that we had to do. The make up process took way too long, close to 2 hours, but the end result was worth it. Our goal was to look as much like those wolf boys from the guinness book of world records as we possibly could. When we finally had completed the look it was time to head to petsmart and see what kind of reactions we got. Let me tell you, they were priceless. Every person in the store that saw Brison did a double take and stared at him like he was…a freak (he was). We were really nervous in the moment so did some things that we would probably change now after the fact but regardless we are happy with the results.

Our strong suit is writing scenarios, scripts and just general sketch comedy. This type of video isn't as desirable because it leaves too many elements up in the air that we can't control. It's scary to leave a large portion of the comedy or general success of a video up to a complete stranger that has no idea they are being filmed... But at the same time doing things like this and putting ourselves in this type of situation will help us grow in an area we wouldn't mind developing. It will be just another tool in our comedy toolbox.

I hope you enjoy!

Scene Hair

Today we sat down and talked about the scene hair style and whether or not it is a good and fashionable look. In typical Shidam! style we were a bit ruthless with our views and opinions. We try to not offend too many people…but it never works out. There's some laughs to be had in this week's Tuesday video. Enjoy!

Banned Commercials Video

We had fun filming this weeks video. The concept was to create a series of short commercials based around the premise of being "Banned Commercials". We were worried how people would respond to the content considering it could be viewed as rather offensive to some people, but luckily thus far the response has been wonderful. I'm happy to see that not everybody is overly PC, especially when it comes to comedy. We have to allow comedy to be pure and unrestricted.

For this video I created a prop that was suppose to look like a Chinese food take out box. I wasn't sure I would be able to do it but I told myself I wouldn't be able to for sure if I at least didn't try. That motivated me to give it a shot. So during the weekend I kicked back, put on a football game and put my arts and crafts skills to the test. I actually had quite a bit of fun making it. It took in total about 2 hours to make for literally maybe 20 seconds of screen time haha, it's okay though, I feel it helped add a lot to the joke.

The mexican gardener part of the video was an idea that I had been sitting on for months now and just never had the proper outlet to execute it. It finally had it's chance to shine. I really enjoy it, I think it's my favorite part of the video actually. I knew it would be funny. We had some problems with audio while filming that part because the only spot we had the opportunity to use was populated with barking  dogs in yards and curious neighbors, but we made it work. Brison had no shame when it came to being loud in a poncho and sombrero, that's why he's great at what he does haha.

I hope people can look past the risqué content and see the humor and comedy in what we did. Truth be told we could of made the content way more "offensive"… we always can.

Believe In Your Dream

It seems so many people go through life not giving their dreams a true shot to become a reality. I understand why they do that, there is comfort in security, but a larger part of me doesn't understand it. We only get one life to live. Sometimes that life is short. Tomorrow is NEVER promised. So with that in mind why wouldn't people dare to dream? Why not take a chance on yourself? Be your own boss. Do what makes you happy. Do what you love. Go against the grain. Make your own decisions. Yeah some of those decisions may be mistakes…but they are YOUR mistakes! In the end of the day do they qualify as mistakes if you learn from them and become a better person? I think not.

We Went To Youtube Headquarters!

This past week we got invited to attend Youtube's Creator Day at their headquarters in San Bruno California. Luckily we live in California so we were able to attend without too much of a hit to our wallets. So Brison, Mitchell and myself left town the day before the event to enjoy a night on the town in San Francisco. We got into town towards nightfall so we were limited to what we could do. We of course went to the Golden Gate Bridge and saw the beautiful view of the city at night. I could of spent hours gazing at the lights of the city and just dreamt of what my future has in store for myself, I love getting lost in the allure of the city. We ventured up the mountain behind the bridge, which was very scary on a dark night with no moon light to see where the cliffs were. A cop pulled somebody over at the top of the mountain and we were pretty sure we'd be next if we didn't get out of there soon, so we used our brains and headed to China Town before it got too late.

(I Promise It Looked Cooler In Person)

China Town was interesting to say the least. Most stores and shops were closed by the time we got there so we didn't get a good experience of that part of the city but it was still enjoyable cruising the city streets with the windows down taking in the environment. The streets of that city are confusing to say the least. Only one way streets, no u-turns, streets where u-turns are only allowed at certain times of the day. Regardless, Brison managed to get us there all in one piece. We parked the car and walked the streets a bit. We ended up in a part of China Town where there was literally a strip club every other store front(not exaggerating one bit). Multiple guys who work for the clubs approached us trying to offer us various deals on the price of admission to get us into their clubs. As much as it would of made the night more interesting, we were responsible YouTubers and didn't take the bait. We had one drink at a hipster bar(my first bar experience). The bartender was a complete douche. He told us last call was in 10 minutes(at 10:30) yet an hour later people came in and he served them with a smile on his face. We came to the conclusion that it was cause we were underdressed. Everybody around us had dress shirts on and fit the 'criteria' for the bar. We eventually left and headed back to our room ready for the day ahead of us.

(These Stupid Papers And Plastic Made Us Feel Special)

The next day was what we were waiting for, YouTube Headquarters. I literally got 1-2 hours of sleep the night before(I hate beds that aren't my own) so I was a bit of a zombie but I didn't let that kill my experience. We got there on time, ready to learn, and learn we did. The day consisted of 6 hours of various Youtube employees and successful Youtubers giving advice and teaching the ways to be successful on the platform. At about the half way mark of the day we got to enjoy "The Famous Youtube Lunch". We all lined up to get into the Youtube cafe, when we finally got in it was set up with  buffet style serving stations. They had a lot of food, but it wasn't all it was hyped up to be(Hometown Buffet is more impressive haha)but it was still great, I was eating Youtube food in Youtube's Headquarters!!! We got to meet a lot of really cool and interesting Youtubers. People who are creative and like minded. That aspect of the day was very refreshing. Typically people I meet are 'sheep' and not into Youtube or creating in general.  This whole day revolved around people who ONLY care about creating and I really valued that.

                                                          (The Gates To Food Heaven)

When we first got invited to the event I was pessimistic about it, I thought that thousands of channels got invited and the goal for Youtube was to fill seats. If it was up to me I wouldn't of went, but the reality is only 70 channels were there that day, and many seats were empty. Very big and popular channels(channels with half a million subscribers) were in attendance. We were one of the smallest channels there, which was a reality check, but it also meant that somebody at Youtube saw potential in what were doing at Shidam! Productions. It gave me a whole new perspective on what I'm doing. It is surreal looking back on that day and that trip and realizing that it all happened cause of what we've accomplished with our channel. If I didn't get off my ass a year ago and start making videos again I would of never experienced that experience, I would of never met those people, I would not be as happy as I am today. It was a perfect cherry to top off a full year of producing online videos. Needless to say the trip only added fire to a fire that was already burning hot. We get better with each video we put out and we will continue to get better and grow every week.

Thank You for reading and/or watching my silly videos,
